According to the statistics of Huangpu Customhouse Chang'an Office, the export sales value of Dongguan furniture, including furniture and accessories, was 2.74 billion US dollars,growing by 15.5%. But the growth drops by 16.9% compared with that of last year.

What makes enterprises depressed is that, on one side, the managing cost is getting higher and higher, but on the other side, it's really no easy way to go up the price. " At present, the USA customers send inquiry to not just China, but also Vietnam and Malaysia. If our prices go up just a little, the order will be got by others." Fu Weisheng Said. The staff in his factory decreased by half compared with the fastigium of last year, just because the order reduced by half. "Lots of orders have gone to Vietnam" He said.

" Trade Bulwark is mainly the bottle-neck for restricting furniture exports. " Staff from Customhouse indicated. In recent years, Chinese furniture suffer successively the anti-dumping from USA, the trade guarantee measurement  from Turkey, and anti-dumping indictment from EU.

On the other hand, China government brought down the export tax rebate twice this year, and had put office metal furniture, bedroom lacque wood furniture,  bedroom rosewood furniture and other 14 kinds of furniture into the export-confining commodity list. It gives greater pressure to furniture enterprise about capital turnover and affects furniture industry quite large in a short time.

However, furniture enterprises in Dongguan didn't give up, but brought up the salary to attract more talents to reply the more and more furious competition.
